History
Glen Surveys - Land Surveyors, was registered in 1972 to develop the
services of the ten year old in-house surveying unit of its original parent company,
international consulting engineers, G. Maunsell & Partners.
Over the next
ten years the company grew significantly with profitable operations providing
services in 24 countries as far afield as Uzbekistan, Australia, India and Hong
Kong, as well as in the UK. Whilst Glen Surveys no longer has overseas offices,
a small proportion of its income is still generated from overseas contracts.
Glen Surveys has grown over the last few years and is now one of the UK's largest firms of Land Surveyors, with several hundred long term clients. As pioneers in the use of digital mapping, digitising and modelling systems, Glen Surveys recognised from early days the importance of developing strategic computer services to their client's changing needs.
Glen's major achievements can be accredited to its professional reputation in the market place, quality of staff and products and its prudent financial control. A core of well trained and highly qualified staff have been retained despite the 1990's recession.
Quality Assurance
Glen's Quality Management System has been modelled on EN ISO 9001 since May l991
and all work is carried out in strict compliance with our Quality Control Procedures,
issued to each member of staff upon employment.
Health & Safety The Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 protects at work. As Surveyors, Glen ensures that its staff, so far as is reasonably practicable, work in a safe environment to protect themselves and others. All members of staff are issued with personal protection equipment and health and safety guidelines, as recommended by the Royal Institution of Surveyors, a copy of which can be supplied to you on request.
